• Assist in coordination and supervision of all technical aspects and quality requirements of the project.
• Provide documentation and written records on progress, executed works, issues, solutions, inspections, change orders, variations, and others aspects that affect the progress of the project.
• Regular site visits and oversee the actual work in progress and quality of work execution as per project specifications.
• Liaise with any Consultants, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, Supervisors, Planners, Quantity Surveyors and the general work force involved in the project.
• Monitoring and review of progress through regular meeting and reports.
• Prepare payment certificates for contractors and sub-contractors invoices.
• Prepare minutes of weekly meetings and circulate to the concerned.
• Management and control of project ensuring compliance with the technical specifications and quality requirements.
• Well-versed with the procedures of Local Government Authorities such as Dubai Municipality, DEWA (electricity & water authority), JAFZA, TRAKHEES, CED etc
• Enforcing laid down procedures for approval of materials and shop drawings.
• Overall idea of engineering, reviewing drawings and specifications from concept to completion stage, In-depth knowledge of Contracts and FIDIC, Evaluation of Claims, variations to the contracts.
• Well-versed with modern construction tools and techniques and safety & quality standards.
• Able to create work flow programs for all major construction activities.
• Coordination with the client and follow up on all contract/project related matters, project related correspondences etc.
• Prepare reports, project execution plans, and any other reports that may be required for the project. Project MIS report for management.
• Perform other duties in line with scope of work.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• over 5 years of experience as a site engineer, project engineer, or project manager
• Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
