Job Summary:

As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen and ensure the preparation and execution of dishes in line with our brand standards. You will specialize in Italian and Continental cuisine, maintaining consistency, taste, and presentation while working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to uphold a world-class dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your assigned section (pasta, grill, appetizers, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation per the restaurant's standards.
  • Supervise and support Commis chefs and junior staff within the section.
  • Maintain mise en place and inventory for the section, ensuring freshness and stock rotation.
  • Uphold kitchen hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with food safety norms (HACCP, FSSAI, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef on daily specials, new menu ideas, and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain and care for kitchen equipment and ensure your section remains organized and clean.
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during service, ensuring timely delivery of all orders.
  • Maintain cost control by minimizing wastage and ensuring proper portion control.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Culinary Diploma/Degree from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen; at least 1 year as a CDP.
  • Strong expertise in Italian/Mexican and Continental cuisine, including pasta, sauces, meats, and plating techniques.
  • Previous experience in fine dining.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Good communication and team management skills.
