Finance Manager
Description
Should be experienced in the areas of Financial Planning, Trade Finance, Setting up policies & procedures, IFRS, Integrated Budgeting & Forecasting using Excel, Designing KPIs to increase productivity and efficiency, Structured system development and implementation, Eye catching & decision oriented MIS Reports, Inventory Management, Business Plan preparation and implementation, Consolidation of Group Companies & Branch Accounts, Working Capital arrangement and management, Optimum Fund utilization, Overseeing Accounting & Credit Control function, Auditing etc.
- Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts and annual reports
- Implement financial plans
- Assess and manage risks
- Reconcile balance sheets
- Analyse margins
- Manage budgets
- Handle debtors
- Monitor cash flows statements and predict future trends
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction
- Develop external relationships, for example; solicitors, bankers, Inland Revenue
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
- Arrange new sources of finance and debt facilities
- Ensure that all transactional, payroll and VAT/ taxation requirements are met
- Keep on top of changes in regulation and legislation and new industry developments
- A fully Qualified Accountant eg. ACCA/ CIMA / ACA
- Possess good accounting experience, some tax knowledge desirable
- Excellent eye for detail, diligent knowledge of accounting regulations
- Ability to report to senior managers
- Capabilities to supervise, manage and lead staff
- Excellent commercial flair and industry experience
- Should have hands-on experience in ERP environment & adept in Adv. Excel.
- Determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures in consultation with top management to facilitate internal financial control.
- Designing business plans / strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation & realize corporate goals; spearheading business process re-engineering initiatives.
- Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
