Infrastructure Project Engineer (Real Estate and Infrastructure)

Job Description

We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Engineer for a government affiliated entity based in the UAE.

Location Sharjah, UAE

Salary 10,000 AED/month

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 810 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations (Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, SRTA).
• Strong technical knowledge of roads, drainage, water, sewer, and utility systems.
• Experience in infrastructure shop drawings, BOQs, and construction execution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review infrastructure design packages and ensure compliance with Sharjah authority standards.
• Supervise execution of works across drainage, sewerage, water, roads, electrical, and telecom networks.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve site issues.
• Support submission processes and approvals with Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, SRTA, and others.
• Verify contractor materials, shop drawings, and site execution for compliance with approved specifications.
• Monitor progress, maintain site logs, and prepare engineering reports.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, snagging, and authority inspections.
• Support handover documentation and NOC closure for infrastructure systems.

• Timeliness of infrastructure execution vs. project milestones.
• Number of NCRs or rework cases due to technical errors.
• Quality of submitted drawings, reports, and authority documents.
• Inspection pass rate and NOC approval timelines.
• Coordination effectiveness across site teams.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Infrastructure Project Engineer to coordinate, supervise, and support the technical delivery of infrastructure works across real estate development projects. The Infrastructure Project Engineer ensures quality, compliance, and timely completion of infrastructure elements including roads, utilities, and networks in accordance with Sharjah authority standards and project specifications.
