Job Description
Dubai is delivering 70,000 properties this year while current regional challenges are putting pressure on the real estate sector across the GCC region. We are developing a PropTech solution focused on supporting home buyers and real estate developers facing adverse market conditions.
We're building Baytii, an early-stage venture building technology at the intersection of real estate and finance in the UAE. We are at the seed stage. Capital is committed, our first partner engagements have begun, and the problem we are solving is large and completely unaddressed.
We are looking for a Co-Founder focussed on ops, someone who will drive operations and build this business alongside the founding team from the ground up into a leading PropTech player in the UAE.
The opportunity
Seed-stage co-founder roles at companies tackling genuinely unsolved problems in large markets are rare. This is one of them. You will not be employee number fifty joining a defined function. You will be shaping the business alongside the founder with a meaningful stake in everything we build.
What you will be responsible for
Operations: building the systems that make us scalableTeam building: recruiting and managing the early team
Fundraising execution alongside the founder
Product direction: your ground-level view shapes what we build
Who you are
Non-negotiable:
Technology background: you have built or operated inside a technology business and understand how to move fast, iterate, and scale
UAE or GCC market knowledge
Living in the UAE
A builder, not a manager: you make things happen without being asked twiceStrategic thinker: you can see the big picture without losing sight of what needs to happen short-term
Process-oriented: you build structure where there is none, turning a founder's instincts into repeatable systems and workflows
Culture carrier: you understand that the first ten hires define the company, and you take that responsibility seriously
Hard working (no 9 to 5 mentality) and deadline-driven: building at startup business into a scalable venture requires intensity
Bonus:
Mortgage or lending experience
Fintech & Proptech experience
Existing relationships with UAE developers or banks
Distressed assets or credit background
Prior 0-to-1 startup experience
