Job Description

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will ensure robust IT operations and provide prompt support across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop and laptop support, including system hardening, software, hardware, printers, and office applications.
• Manage Google Apps enterprise environment: create, suspend, delete accounts, troubleshoot sync issues, and handle backups/restores.
• Administer Avaya IP phone system: create extensions, monitor lines, perform backups, and generate call reports.
• Oversee Data Centre operations: add/remove hosted servers, monitor health, and maintain routers and lease lines.
• Proficient in Active Directory design, deployment, group policy management, and domain services.
• Manage Wi-Fi networks through Aruba solutions, maintain VPNs, and configure firewall policies with regular backups and updates.
• Perform Windows Server administration: patch management, Active Directory, domain access, and server hardening.
• Manage file servers: create shared folders, set access rights, and conduct regular backups.
• Provide remote and onsite support for shops, warehouses, and remote offices on POS systems, PCs, printers, and software.
• Coordinate with help desk and vendors to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware or software issues.
• Evaluate and test new technology, identify improvements, and recommend system changes.
• Develop and deploy endpoint security policies, monitor antivirus/firewall compliance.
• Maintain incident logs and documentation.
• Perform other IT tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar System & Network Support role.
• Strong technical knowledge of desktop, server, and network environments.
• Experience with Google Apps, Avaya systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, and firewall management.
• Familiarity with VPNs, Wi-Fi management (Aruba preferred), and endpoint security.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of system & network Support best practices and security protocols.
• Strong problem-solving, innovation, and process improvement mindset.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with productivity and time management.
• Effective teamwork, communication, reliability, and adaptability to change.
