Financial Data analyst SAP S/4HANA
Job Description
GL events Middle East looking for a financial data analyst to support ther finance team with the transition from QuickBooks Desktop to SAP S/4HANA.
This role is key in ensuring a smooth and accurate transition of financial data and processes. You will act as a bridge between the local finance team and the SAP implementation team based in France, supporting data preparation, validation, testing, and user adoption.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong data skills and SAP exposure to contribute to a critical transformation project.
Key Responsibilities- Extract, clean, and prepare financial data from QuickBooks Desktop
- Validate data before and after migration to SAP S/4HANA
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across key finance processes (AP, AR, GL)
- Reconcile financial balances to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Validate reports and system outputs post-migration
- Document processes, mappings, and testing scenarios
- Support end users during go-live and transition phase
They are detail-oriented, hands-on and analytical, comfortable working in project environments and able to effectively bridge finance and IT teams. Fluent English is a must – French is a plus.
