About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and industry-experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Aluminium value chain, Industrial Automation, or Metal & Mining sectors. The successful candidate will bring domain expertise, analytical acumen, and strategic insight to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving operational efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, define, and document detailed business requirements related to Aluminium production, automation systems, and mining operations.
• Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend enhancements to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Solution Design: Work closely with technical teams to translate business needs into scalable, industry-aligned solutions.
• Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis across production, logistics, and financial datasets to generate actionable business insights.
• Documentation: Develop comprehensive business documentation including process flows, use cases, user stories, and requirement specifications.
• Project Management Support: Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating project deliverables to ensure milestones and timelines are met.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely delivery.
• Testing & Validation: Design test plans and lead UAT sessions to validate solutions against business requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor solution performance and gather post-implementation feedback to drive ongoing enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the Aluminium industry, Industrial Automation, or Metal & Mining sectors.
• Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand and translate complex business problems into solutions.
• Domain-Specific Insight: Deep understanding of sector-specific workflows, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
• Tools & Platforms: Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and project management principles.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
• Risk Management: Ability to assess project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience working on large-scale automation or mining technology projects.
