Contract Manager

Job Description

• Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of all project-related contracts (construction, subcontractor, vendor, consultancy, etc.).
• Review and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with local laws, FIDIC standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, engineering, and finance teams to support tendering processes and contract awards.
• Conduct risk analysis and mitigation related to contracts and commercial exposure.
• Maintain a full record of contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations, and amendments throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Provide contractual and commercial guidance during project execution and assist in dispute resolution.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Liaise with project managers and quantity surveyors on cost implications related to variations, delays, or claims.
• Ensure timely renewals, extensions, and closures of contracts as per project milestones.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Law.
• Minimum 812 years of experience, with at least 5 years in contracts management for high-rise or complex infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC, local construction laws, and contract administration best practices.
• Proven experience handling EPC, Design & Build, and Lump Sum contracts.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
