Overview:
The General Manager for New Business at Legend is responsible for launching and scaling a new business vertical, driving growth and expanding Legend presence in the UAE market.
This leader will develop compelling business strategies, build and nurture successful teams, and champion operational excellence to meet ambitious objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Growth Discovery & Planning:
- Identify and define new growth opportunities that align with overall vision. Constantly research customer behavior and market trends to generate innovative business ideas that fuel expansion within the UAE.
Business Launch & Execution:
- Lead the complete lifecycle of a new business verticalfrom detailed market analysis to designing and executing the go-to-market strategy.
Team Building:
- Recruit, develop, and empower a high-performing team, ensuring the organizational structure supports both immediate and long-term goals.
Operational Excellence:
- Continuously optimize daily operations for efficiency by adopting and implementing best practices.
Customer Experience & Compliance:
- Set and uphold industry-leading standards in processes, compliance, and customer experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product, Customer Experience teams to co-create new business solutions and guarantee seamless execution.
Strategic Partnership:
- Partner directly with the CEO and finance team to lead strategic planning, perform financial analysis, and drive performance reviews.
- Experience: 35 years relevant work experience with proven UAE market exposure.
- Leadership: Demonstrable success in a senior management role, ideally with a record of launching or scaling new business units or verticals.
- Mindset: Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team Builder: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and grow multi-functional teams.
