Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Account Director with a strong background in project direction and business development within the fashion and luxury events sector in Dubai and the wider GCC region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, exceptional client servicing skills, and a proven track record in managing high-profile projects and driving agency growth.

Key Responsibilities

Account / Project Management
  • Project Oversight: Lead the end-to-end delivery of events and projectsplanning, execution, monitoring, and closureensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Resource Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure proper resource allocation and efficient execution.
  • Budget Control: Oversee project financials, monitor expenses, and provide regular reporting while maintaining profitability.
  • Quality Control: Guarantee that all outputs align with client expectations and reflect the agencys standards of excellence.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Business Development
  • Client Growth: Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Agency Representation: Lead meetings with prospective clients, present capabilities, and follow up to convert leads into partnerships.
  • Proposal & Pitch Development: Create tailored proposals and lead pitch presentations to secure new business.
  • Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor movements to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Revenue Goals: Deliver on financial targets for assigned accounts and contribute to overall agency profitability.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to develop account strategies that align with both client goals and agency vision.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the fashion and luxury events industry within Dubai and/or the GCC.
  • Demonstrated success in project leadership, client relationship management, and business development.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, planning, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of the regional fashion, luxury, and events ecosystem.
