Network Security Technical Sales (BFSI/Enterprise/Commercial) – Dubai
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support opportunities assigned by the sales team, prioritizing efforts to maximize productivity, profitability, and business impact.
- Proactively assess customer technical and business requirements, identify gaps, and recommend optimal solutions that deliver value to both the customer and the organization.
- Gather input from all relevant stakeholders within the customer environment and tailor solutions to ensure alignment and support.
- Work closely with internal sales, presales, support, and service delivery teams to align solution designs with customer business objectives.
- Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales growth across designated product lines, markets, channels, or supported teams.
- Mentor and coach sales team members to strengthen product knowledge, technical expertise, and solution-selling capabilities.
- Identify and pursue additional business opportunities within existing customer accounts and collaborate with sales teams to drive closure.
- Consistently achieve assigned revenue and profitability goals.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in line with company standards and expectations.
- Complete all required training and development programs within assigned timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with account managers, sales teams, and customers throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Support negotiations and contract closures by providing technical and commercial assistance to the sales team.
- Assist sales teams in proposal development, client presentations, pitch preparation, and RFP responses.
- Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept solutions to showcase business value across multiple industries.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals on behalf of the sales team.
- Respond to technical, functional, and compliance questionnaires from customers.
- Support Account Managers or Sales Consultants throughout the complete sales cycle, from RFI/RFP stages through contract negotiation and closure.
- Identify functional gaps during customer discussions and collaborate with technical and vendor teams to develop viable solutions.
- Provide technical and business scoping support to sales representatives and validate proposed solutions for prospective customers.
- Assist in closing activities including pricing adjustments, SOW preparation, contract drafting, security questionnaires, and customized demo environments.
- Engage with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Administration, Project Delivery, and Sales.
- Collaborate with management on sales planning, forecasting, and business development strategies, including short- and long-term growth initiatives.
- Work closely with architecture and delivery teams to ensure proposed services and solutions fully address customer technology and business requirements.
- Develop and manage both technical and commercial proposals for customer opportunities.
- Define and execute winning strategies for each opportunity.
- Handle overall solution costing, prepare cost sheets, obtain approvals within project costing systems, and oversee cost allocation, order management, and delivery tracking.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of experience in sales engineering within large enterprise or strategic B2B customer environments.
- Proven track record of success and strong technical solution expertise in a similar presales or sales engineering role.
