Cisco Network & Security Presales Specialist – Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary networking SME supporting Sales and Presales activities.
• Design comprehensive network architectures across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, data center, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Architect networking solutions covering on-premises infrastructure, public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid connectivity models.
• Design and position network solutions within hypervisor environments including VMware (NSX-T), Hyper-V, and KVM-based platforms.
• Engage with customers to gather technical and business requirements and convert them into scalable solution designs.
• Prepare HLDs, LLDs, BOQs, and technical proposals aligned with customer needs and business goals.
• Conduct technical workshops, product demonstrations, and solution presentations for customers and stakeholders.
• Support RFP/RFI submissions with strong technical articulation and competitive differentiation.
• Work closely with OEMs and cloud providers for solution validation and positioning.
• Integrate networking solutions with security frameworks including micro segmentation, Zero Trust, and SASE architectures.
• Ensure seamless handover from presales to delivery through close collaboration with implementation teams.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies such as cloud-native networking, Kubernetes networking, AI-driven operations, and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–15+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including exposure to presales or solution architecture functions.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN and network virtualization technologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking technologies, including:
• AWS – VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect
• Azure – VNet, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute
• GCP – VPC, Cloud Interconnect
• Experience designing hybrid cloud and multi-cloud networking environments.
• Strong expertise in hypervisor-based networking technologies, including:
• VMware NSX-T (overlay networking, micro segmentation, load balancing)
• vSphere Distributed Switch and NSX ALB (AVI)
• Hyper-V virtual networking and SDN concepts
• Familiarity with containerized and Kubernetes networking concepts (CNI, service mesh) is advantageous.
• Good understanding of network security integration including NGFW, NAC, SASE, and micro segmentation.
• Exposure to automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform is preferred.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
