Job: Psychology Lead Practitioner (Lead Teacher)
Employer: British International School, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Start date: 19th August 2026
Annual Tax-Free Salary: £34,500 - £40,000 + Benefits including housing, flight allowance, medical and gratuity (worth over £15,000)

Contract: Full-time, fixed term for 2 years

Aston Education is working with a thriving and vibrant British international school in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They are looking for a full-time Psychology Lead Practitioner (Lead Teacher) to start in August 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent Teacher of Psychology or a middle leader to develop their leadership skills in supporting colleagues in strengthening their practice.

The job responsibilities include:

As a Psychology Lead Practitioner, you'll work across KS4 and KS5 and provide high quality coaching and subject-specific CPD to Psychology teachers to achieve sustained improvements in teaching and learning.

You'll implement and monitor strategies to raise the achievement of targeted Psychology students and act as a champion for SEND students.

You'll teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5 and prepare the students for iGCSE and A level exams.

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • PGCE and QTS / QTLS
  • Degree in Psychology or related field
  • Successful UK teaching experience in Psychology at secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Psychology
  • Proven track record of improving teaching and learning
  • Commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
