Assistant Surveyor

Job Description

• Assist in surveying tasks including data collection, measurements, and documenting field notes
• Assist the project survey team where possible (mobilization, calibrations, execution)
• Report all activities that will possibly effect survey operations, to the Chief / Project Surveyor / Surveyor
• Execute on-field study and document dimensions
• Coordinate with other surveyors on-ground survey tasks
• Assist the surveying division with surveying operations
• Provide support during the Installation and troubleshooting of survey equipment, hardware and software
• Prepare and maintain survey equipment by cleaning, calibrating, and conducting routine maintenance
• Carry out on-site safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

• This is a general view of a Job that you have been assigned for – at times you will be asked to do above and/or beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements

• Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent
• Minimum 02 years of relevant experience in a similar industry
