Commercial Manager
Job Description
Lead and manage all commercial aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms, budgets, and company policies.
Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements in coordination with legal and project teams.
Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and profitability, implementing cost control and value engineering measures.
Manage variations, claims, and change orders, including preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and final settlement.
Oversee interim and final valuations, payment applications, certifications, and financial reporting.
Coordinate with project managers, planning, procurement, and finance teams to align commercial strategy with project execution.
Assess and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring timely identification and resolution of contractual and financial issues.
Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to protect company commercial interests.
Ensure accurate commercial documentation, records, and reporting in line with contractual, audit, and ISO requirements.
Support project close-out, final accounts, claims resolution, and successful commercial handover.
