Job Description
The purpose of this position is to manage the financial resources of the organization and maximizing returns on investments. This role will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and forecasting the organizations cashflows to ensure liquidity and maximize returns on investments.This includes daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of cash positions and movements, as well as overseeing the issuance and receipt of bank guarantees.
Key Accountabilities- Monitor daily cash balances and transfer funds between accounts to ensure sufficient liquidity is available as required.
- Analyze current and projected cash positions, evaluate investment opportunities, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Analysis of all bank charges, fees and interest income and expense.
- Maintain treasury records, prepare reports, and provide analysis of financial performance.
- Be the primary point of contact for all payment related queries and ensure timely responses are provided to banks
- Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.
- Support in managing the companys banking relationships.
- Macroeconomics: Stay informed of high-level economic trends and news, especially for Financial Risks that impact Treasury (FX, Interest Rates).
- Trade Finance: Manage the issuance, cancellation, monitoring, tracking and recording of bank guarantees issued by the company. Monitor and track bank guarantees received by the company.
- A bachelors degree in Finance, accounting or other related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate Treasury role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, summarize, and present data effectively
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proficient with Bloomberg/Eikon and familiarity with API connectivity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and accuracy
