Job Description
Role Overview:
You&aposre the driving force behind revenue and delivery. As Sales and Operations Manager, youll lead the business side of Health Magazine and Thumbay Mediasteering ad sales, sponsorships, partnerships, distribution, and daily operations. Youll work closely with editorial, creative, and events teams to ensure business goals translate into real results.This is part sales strategist, part operations leaderand all about execution.
Salary- AED 14,000/- To AED 18,000/-
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive ad sales for print, digital, video, and events (Health Awards, Influencer Summits, etc.)
Build and grow relationships with healthcare brands, wellness companies, hospitals, and pharma groups
Pitch media kits, campaign packages, and sponsored content opportunities
Identify upselling/cross-selling potential across media and event assets
Prepare monthly sales reports, revenue forecasts, and pipeline updates- Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships
Secure sponsors for high-profile events like Health Awards and editorial campaigns
Liaise with corporate communications teams of partners and sponsors
Draft sponsorship decks, MOU proposals, and custom media plans- Operations & Distribution
Manage magazine distribution (physical and digital) across clinics, hospitals, hotels, and wellness centers
Oversee content and ad scheduling to align with print deadlines and event timelines
Coordinate with print vendors, logistics partners, and digital publishing platforms- Team Management & Coordination
Supervise the sales and marketing team, ensuring targets and KPIs are met
Collaborate with editorial, design, and video teams for integrated campaigns
Ensure smooth execution of events from planning to post-event reporting- Brand Expansion & Innovation
Support launch of new verticals: podcasts, YouTube series, digital newsletters
Explore new platforms and formats to grow Health Magazines audience and advertiser base
Analyze performance data to refine campaigns and content monetization strategies
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in media sales, publishing, or healthcare advertising (UAE experience preferred)
- Proven record in securing ad revenues, sponsorships, and B2B deals
- Strong network in healthcare, wellness, pharma, and lifestyle industries
- Fluent in digital media tools: CRM, media kits, proposal decks, campaign tracking
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask, lead teams, and deliver under deadlines
