Aircraft Technician - IFE

Employment: Full Time
Synopsis
Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations.
Accountabilities- Ensure IFE maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical data and in that respect keeps himself/herself updated on current and new technical and quality notices issued also general/technical information.
- Execute and sign off all IFE related tasks.
- Visit and troubleshoot any aircraft reported with an IFE failure.
- Ensure maximum attention is given to on-time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand.
- Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of aircraft.
- Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work.
- Develop oneself and increase aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development.
- Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution and proactively participate in all health and safety matters.
- Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the company’s ethics.
- Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
- Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective.
- Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAOII, EASA66 + GCAA). Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent.
- 2 years line/base maintenance environment.
- Any of the following: Panasonic eX2, eX3, Thales or SAFRAN SPI is mandatory.
