Purpose and Scope of Position:

The F&B Captain will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the food and beverage service in the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of waitstaff to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the F&B service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Greet and assist guests with their dining needs, including guiding them through menu choices and special requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, ensuring all equipment is in working condition.
• Monitor and maintain service standards for quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the F&B area.
• Train, mentor, and support new staff, ensuring that all team members meet performance expectations.
• Manage customer feedback and resolve complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and manage reports related to food and beverage service, including inventory and sales.
• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations, including opening/closing duties, and managing the floor during peak times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in F&B service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques and menu knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the F&B industry.
• Ability to handle customer complaints effectively and professionally.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
