As part of our continued expansion in the Middle East, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to support our Dubai operations and ensure seamless technology infrastructure across our logistics network.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems across warehouse and office environments.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and IT equipment ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Install and configure operating systems, applications, and devices for employees and warehouse operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, and other business-critical applications.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to implement JD Groups cybersecurity protocols and IT standards.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide user training and technical guidance for new technologies.
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and rollouts as part of JD Logistics digital transformation initiatives.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco CCNA are preferred.
- Minimum 35 years of IT support experience in a fast-paced logistics, supply chain, or similar environment.
- Proven experience with warehouse IT systems and equipment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (servers, PCs, barcode scanners, printers) and software issues.
- Familiarity with WMS, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in English (Mandarin/Arabic is a plus).
