We are seeking a dynamic Junior Legal Counsel to join our leading legal team in Dubai.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a reputable company by providing sound legal advice and supporting a wide range of legal matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen interest in corporate law within a fast-paced environment.
Would also value experience in managing legal administrative work such as notary services, attestations, as well as supporting HR functions — particularly drafting agreement templates and other HR-related documents. Experience in legal research, assisting with company incorporation, and handling licensing processes would also be a strong plus.
Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and timely legal advice to internal stakeholders on various corporate and commercial matters.
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to mitigate risks and protect company interests.
- Conduct legal research to support ongoing projects and ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with external legal advisors as necessary to manage litigation and regulatory issues.
- Support the implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal changes and propagate relevant information to the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; Admission to the bar or relevant legal qualification is preferred.
- At least 2/3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate or commercial law environment.
- Strong understanding of UAE laws and regulations, with the capability to apply them practically.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- High ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential information.
Salary: AED 16,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
