Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager with over 20 years of proven expertise in managing EPC oil & gas projects across the UAE and GCC region. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, project execution, and site leadership in large-scale energy infrastructure projects, including pipelines, refineries, gas processing facilities, and petrochemical plants.

• Lead the on-site execution of oil & gas EPC projects from mobilization to project handover.
• Manage and coordinate all construction activities across disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, etc.).
• Review project designs, specifications, and engineering deliverables to ensure construction feasibility.
• Implement and enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards as per international and client requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for seamless project execution.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and HSE policies.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and resolution of site issues.
• Monitor and control project costs, change orders, and risk management.
• Lead site progress meetings and prepare regular progress reports for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction management of EPC oil & gas projects in the UAE and GCC.
• Strong knowledge of international construction standards, codes, and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
• Proven experience with mega projects such as refineries, gas plants, offshore/onshore facilities, or pipelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of contractual terms, procurement processes, and project controls.
• Familiar with client companies like ADNOC, ARAMCO, QP, KOC, or similar.
