Freelance Promoters

Duration: August 1 – September 9, 2025

The Freelance Promoter will play a key role in supporting Ether’s Back-to-School pop-up activation at Yas Mall by engaging directly with customers, promoting products, and delivering a lively, family-friendly brand experience. This role is essential to driving footfall, building brand awareness, and contributing to sales during a high-traffic retail period.

• Actively approach and engage with mall visitors to promote Ether’s Back-to-School offerings.
• Represent the brand with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Demonstrate and explain products, promotions, or services clearly and effectively.
• Encourage participation in pop-up activities or contests, as applicable.
• Support the sales team in achieving daily engagement or sales targets.
• Maintain the visual appeal and organization of the activation booth.
• Assist in restocking, inventory checks, and minor setup or pack-down tasks.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Provide customer feedback and report on visitor trends and responses.

• Sunday to Thursday: Two shifts

• Friday & Saturday: Two shifts

• 1 day off per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role such as retail sales, events, promotions, or brand activations.
• Previous experience working in a mall environment, pop-up activation, or similar fast-paced setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to engage diverse audiences and drive customer interest.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diploma or certification in Marketing, Events, Sales, or Communications is an added advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to approach and interact with customers confidently.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
• Strong presentation and persuasion abilities to promote products and offers effectively.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage shifting priorities and peak periods.

• Must be available for the full duration of the pop-up activation (August 1 – September 9, 2025).
• Legally eligible to work as a freelancer in the UAE (own visa or freelance permit preferred).
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per the event schedule.
