Sales Engineer - HVAC

Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Engineer HVAC with proven expertise in project sales and turnkey HVAC projects. The role focuses on selling and executing large-scale HVAC projects, including chillers and air-cooling systems. The role is best suited for candidates with full-cycle project sales experience, rather than retrofit or maintenance focused backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute towards developing sales plans and implement sales strategies to achieve annual targets.
- Generate qualified enquiries for HVAC products and systems.
- Prepare competitive quotations and technical proposals.
- Identify and probe future product and system requirements of clients within targeted market segments.
- Negotiate pricing, specifications, delivery timelines and terms to secure orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and MEP contractors.
- Provide market intelligence and recommend new products/solutions.
- Prepare timely and accurate sales reports.
- Work closely with internal Projects Department for design and project updates.
- Engage with clients to define requirements for complex systems and ensure successful project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years experience in the HVAC industry, specifically in chillers and air-cooling solutions.
- Experience in turnkey projects.
- Strong technical knowledge, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
- Experience in preparing proposals/presentations for RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven relationship-building and networking skills.
- Commercial and contractual acumen.
- Market intelligence and technical expertise in HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
