Position Summary
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximising hotel revenue, profitability, and market share through strategic pricing, inventory control, forecasting, and demand management. The role oversees all revenue-generating segments, including rooms, groups, corporate business, wholesale, leisure, and online distribution channels.
The Revenue Manager will analyse market trends, competitor performance, booking patterns, and demand forecasts to develop and implement effective revenue strategies that drive ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and overall hotel profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Optimisation- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximise hotel profitability.
- Monitor and optimise room inventory, pricing, and distribution channels.
- Analyse demand patterns and market trends to identify revenue opportunities.
- Recommend pricing strategies for transient, corporate, group, and leisure segments.
- Ensure optimal room inventory allocation across all booking channels.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual revenue forecasts.
- Support the annual budgeting process and business planning activities.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast targets.
- Identify revenue risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and market share analysis.
- Monitor market demand, events, seasonality, and economic factors affecting hotel performance.
- Utilise STR reports and market intelligence tools to evaluate hotel positioning.
- Recommend tactical actions to improve market penetration and revenue performance.
- Manage all online and offline distribution channels.
- Optimise OTA performance and channel profitability.
- Ensure rate parity and inventory accuracy across all platforms.
- Work closely with e-commerce and digital marketing teams to maximise online revenue.
- Prepare revenue performance reports for hotel management.
- Analyse ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy, Market Penetration Index (MPI), Revenue Generation Index (RGI), and other key metrics.
- Present recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
- Monitor pickup reports, pace analysis, and booking trends.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, and Finance teams.
- Participate in weekly revenue and commercial strategy meetings.
- Support sales teams with pricing guidance and contract evaluations.
- Assist in developing promotional campaigns and special offers.
- Ensure effective use of revenue management systems and hotel reservation platforms.
- Maintain accurate data integrity within PMS, CRS, and channel management systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Revenue Management are an advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of hotel revenue management experience.
- At least 5 years in a Revenue Manager role within a luxury hotel or international hospitality brand.
- Experience in lifestyle luxury hotels is highly preferred.
- GCC/UAE hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Marriott revenue management practices is an advantage.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis
- Channel Management Platforms
