Senior Officer, Procurement (Emirati Talent)

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Seeking a detail-oriented and strategic procurement office to manager the bank's supply of products and services. Will be responsible for identifying cost-effective deals and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services in line with the banks policies and standards.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Develop, lead and execute sourcing strategies.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to procurement activities.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors.
• Determine quality, quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery and invoices.

Job Requirements (Qualifications/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree in business administration
• Additional Certifications - CIPS
• 5 years experience in procurement
• Effective communication skills in English and Arabic
