Authority Liaison Officer

Job Description

We are a Civil Contracting Company seeking a Civil Engineer to work as an Authority Liaison Officer. This role will serve as the primary point of contact between our company and local authorities, including the Municipality, Department of Urban Planning, and Civil Defense.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the submission process for permits, approvals, and clearances, including design, building, and infrastructure approvals.
• Prepare and submit required documentation to authorities, maintain thorough communication records, and provide project teams with regular updates on approval statuses.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and authorities to address regulatory compliance and approval processes.
• Stay informed on changes in local laws, regulations, and standards, and communicate updates to internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.

• Microsoft Office 365
• AutoCAD
