About the Role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across a diverse portfolio of assets and business activities.
The successful candidate will provide financial leadership, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the delivery of accurate financial reporting while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and internal control standards.
This role requires a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and experience operating within a dynamic property, asset management, professional services, or related environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis for senior management.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance processes, and financial risk management practices.
- Prepare financial models and business case evaluations to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor revenue, operating expenditure, profitability, and working capital performance.
- Support business planning, investment evaluations, and commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and financial performance.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Experience within real estate, property management, asset management, professional services, financial services, or similar sectors is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Experience preparing management reports and financial performance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial governance principles.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Property management, real estate, or asset management environment.
- Multi-entity or portfolio-based reporting.
- Service charge accounting and reconciliation.
- Client reporting and financial performance reporting.
- Process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
