Senior Engineer, Maintenance (Program Manager)
Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Manage the review, design, and implementation of cost-effective maintenance improvement programs in the division, support the development of maintenance policies, standards, processes and systems across maintenance departments and manage a division-wise centre of excellence to assure company assets are effectively and efficiently maintained throughout their asset lifecycle.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
u00A0u2022 Ensure that the companyu2019s maintenance policy, framework and standards are updated and continually improved to establish consistent approaches which deliver improved efficiency and effectiveness across all assets, thereby contributing to the company objectives in safety, integrity, and reliability.
u2022 Lead the division-wide programs to implement sustainable improvements of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company standards throughout the asset lifecycle, ensure effectiveness, optimize downtime, and provide performance visibility.
u2022 Introduce processes to consolidate and continually evaluate maintenance costs against benchmarks to actively reduce spend while achieving company objectives.
u2022 Support the development and implementation of appropriate division policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, and internal controls for the execution of divisionu2019s work programs in line with company guidelines and international standards.Performance Monitoring and Management
u2022 Establish a coherent, accurate reporting system for the maintenance performance and related processes to provide basis for management decision.
u2022 Develop the division Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and ensure proper cascade of performance objectives within the division and establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure delivery of these objectives and promote a performance driven culture.
u2022 Lead the implementation of the performance management system for individuals within the maintenance division in accordance with company approved guidelines.u00A0

Maintenance & Operational Plans and Systems
u00A0u2022 Develop consistent and realistic long-and short-term operational plans for the division in line with the group objectives and manage implementation to ensure they are effectively converted into its performance levels to realize objectives and targets.
u00A0u2022 Lead the development and improvement of the divisionu2019s maintenance management systems to maximize the efficiency of the business process they support and to enable the proactive management of maintenance tactics.
u00A0u2022 Ensure thatthe maintenance management system has adequate performance, contains quality data and is effectively used, to enable the management processes.
u00A0u2022 Oversee the planning and execution of internal technical trainings to improve the level of competency in the division required as per business requirements- u2022 Support and align audit exercises and ensure the timely completion of maintenance actions. Community and Networks
- u2022 Promote a proactive initiative towards maintenance excellence, challenging entrenched practices to align with standardized world class industrial practices.u00A0
u2022 Assist in the development and training of UAE Nationals. Budget and Cost Control (CAPEX and OPEX) u2022 Coordinate the divisionu2019s annual budget in line with business objectives and operational plans ensuring that adequate funding provision is made for all maintenance division activities.u00A0
u2022 Monitor expenditure against approved department budget on a regular basis, investigate, highlight, and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.u00A0

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering or equivalent Technical Qualification Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u2022 8 years of experience in Maintenance in an Oil & Gas industry, including 4 years of engineering experience
u2022 Knowledge on CMMS u2013 SAP eAM, Business Analytics and related software
u2022 Knowledge in maintenance auditing, and inspection
u2022 Mastery of methods, systems and techniques relevant to maintenance excellence
u2022 Knowledge of applicable and relevant standards and industry best practices
u2022 Management skills related to the functional domain and disciplines
u2022 Sound knowledge of HSE principles and their application relevant to Oil & Gas industryu00A0
