MEP Draughtsman

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MEP Draughtsman with a strong background in infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and ICA works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications, standards, and consultant requirements.

The Draughtsman works closely with project engineers and construction teams to ensure that all drawings and plans meet the specified requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

Create detailed technical drawings for infrastructure projects using CAD software.

Ensure that all drawings comply with industry regulations and standards.

Revise drawings and plans based on feedback from project stakeholders.

Participate in site visits to gather necessary data for the project.

Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure precision and accuracy.

Assist in the estimation of materials and costs required for the project.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design software and industry developments.

Present design plans and modifications to clients and project managers.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.

25 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects (Sewerage, Irrigation, Drainage, Stormwater, Potable water and Fire Fighting Pumping Stations) preferably in the UAE/GCC

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Ability to adapt designs to meet project challenges and client needs. Familiarity with the latest industry trends and developments in design.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED. 4,000.00 AED. 7,000.00 per month
