Role Description As a 3D Animator at Antigen Music, you will create high-quality 3D animations and visual sequences that support music videos, promotional content, and artist branding. This is a contract, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for partial work from home as project needs allow.Day to day, you will animate characters and objects, refine motion for performance-driven scenes, and collaborate with directors, producers, and designers to translate creative concepts into polished 3D visuals. You will work with motion capture data, build or adjust rigs, and optimize assets for smooth playback and rendering.
The role also involves troubleshooting animation and rigging issues, maintaining consistent visual style, and delivering on schedule within a fast-paced, music-driven production environment.
Qualifications
- Strong 3D Animation and Animation skills for character, performance, and camera work.
- Proficiency in Motion Capture workflows, including cleaning and applying mocap data to characters.
- Rigging experience for building and maintaining character and object rigs suitable for animation.
- Hands-on experience with Blender for modeling, animation, lighting, and rendering pipelines.
- Portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant 3D animation work, preferably in entertainment, music, or storytelling contexts.
- Ability to interpret creative direction, take feedback constructively, and iterate quickly.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary creative teams in a hybrid setup.
- Familiarity with other 3D or compositing tools (e.g., Maya, Unreal Engine, After Effects) is a plus.
- Experience with stylized or music-video-style animation is highly desirable.
- Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in 3D animation, digital media, game art, or a related field.
