Job Description
The Senior Key Accounts Manager is responsible for leading the management and growth of high-value public sector accounts, acting as the primary client liaison to ensure exceptional service delivery, revenue growth, and long-term partnership development.In addition to managing key relationships, the role will provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development support to UAE National employees within the department, fostering their integration, performance, and career progression within CNS.
Job Responsibilities:
Key Account Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key public sector accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and CNS’s strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders to drive retention and growth.
- Develop account plans, monitor performance against targets, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling CNS solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage service delivery escalations to maintain high client satisfaction levels.
- Define and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy for IT solutions and services across verticals.
- Lead the development of sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of account managers.
- Drive new client acquisition, upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Build and expand a strong sales pipeline by identifying opportunities across public and private sectors, SMBs, and large
- enterprises.
- Engage in high-level client meetings, presentations, and solution positioning with C-level executives.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams to craft customized, value-driven proposals.
- Understand client challenges and position multi-vendor system integration solutions, including managed services, cloud
- (AWS/Azure/GCP), security, networking, digital infrastructure, Fintech, Engineering on Demand and application
- platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners.
- Leverage vendor programs and co-selling frameworks to enhance market presence and deal value.
Mentoring & UAE National Talent Development:
- Provide ongoing mentorship, skills coaching, and professional guidance to UAE National employees assigned within the team.
- Support their involvement in client-facing activities to enhance practical exposure and career readiness.
- Share industry knowledge, best practices, and client management techniques to build internal capacity.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help UAE National colleagues achieve performance objectives.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams, including service delivery, operations, and technical teams, to ensure seamless client service.
- Prepare and deliver regular account performance reports, highlighting key successes, challenges, and opportunities.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align client strategies with CNS growth objectives.
Qualifications
Education- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration.
- Minimum Requirement: 8–10 years of experience in key account management, preferably working with public sector clients.
- Preferred Experience: Proven track record in senior relationship management roles, ideally within the banking, financial services, or technology sectors.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Proven leadership and mentoring ability.
- Strategic account planning and execution expertise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong commercial acumen with advanced problem-solving capabilities.
