About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our Specialty Lubricants and Chemicals business unit at REDA Chemicals in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business growth by identifying customer needs and delivering tailored product solutions.Reporting to the Business Team Manager, you will collaborate closely with customers, key influencers, and internal teams to support the execution of sales plans that align with REDA's business goals.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and following up on sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering technical sales presentations to promote our innovative product portfolio. Your technical aptitude, customer-oriented approach, and interest in tribology & industrial lubrication applications, combined with strong communication and relationship-building skills, will be key to your success in this role.
Exposure to sectors such as cement, steel, food processing, oil & gas, packaging, power generation, or manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities- Collaborate directly with end customers to identify application needs and translate them into product solution recommendations.
- Gather relevant information related to the product portfolio to identify new business opportunities and generate growth.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application discussions with customers.
- Assist customers in improving equipment reliability and lubrication practices by supporting troubleshooting and lubrication optimization.
- Support the execution of sales plans to manage the assigned territory and customer base, achieving agreed sales volume and growth targets.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers, prospects, key influencers, decision-makers, and partners within the specialty lubricants and chemicals value chain.
- Manage a pipeline of business opportunities aligned with strategic goals to drive growth in target segments.
- Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, credit terms, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) effectively with customers.
- Proactively analyze customers product and service needs, industry trends, and business dynamics.
- Share business, competitive, and industry intelligence with REDA counterparts (e.g., marketing, research and development, technical service, customer service) to promote increased revenue and value.
- Leverage the full capabilities of REDA, including cross-industry and product opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related science background.
- 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, industrial lubricants, specialty chemicals, or related industrial products. Candidates with knowledge or exposure to tribology and industrial lubrication applications are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal relations.
- Proven ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business strategies while consistently achieving sales targets.
- Experience in utilizing trade shows and other channels, along with participation in various educational and customer-oriented conferences.
- Valid UAE driving license is required. Willingness to travel across the region for customer visits and technical discussions.
