Business Analyst - ATS Implementation
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a solid HR background to support the implementation of the Avature Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for our client a leading semi-government organization based in Dubai.
This role is well-suited for a detail-focused professional with proven experience in HRIS/ATS implementations, strong skills in requirement gathering, and the ability to effectively connect HR teams with technical stakeholders.
This is a 12 month renewable contract based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the requirement gathering process from HR and recruitment stakeholders to define project scope and solution needs.
- Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and User Stories to support effective system configuration and development.
- Act as the key liaison between HR teams and technical implementation teams during all project phases.
- Support the configuration and deployment of the Avature ATS, ensuring alignment with business workflows and compliance requirements.
- Utilize tools like MS Visio to map existing and future-state HR/recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post-implementation support.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- 35+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within HR systems or Talent Acquisition technology.
- Proven experience with ATS/HRIS implementation projects experience with Avature ATS is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of recruitment workflows, HR operations, and related compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise BRDs, User Stories, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Visio and other project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Availability:
Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available or can join within 30 days of receiving an offer.
