Financial Analyst - UAE Nationals

Job Description

Ensures the accuracy of accounts payable reports, maintains accurate backup documents, and guarantees that all unpaid invoices are processed for EFG.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Support Head of Finance, in treasury operation, including bank correspondence, and review of financing.
• Analyse financial information, including any additional work given by the manager.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Interaction with internal auditors, external auditors, and statutory auditors.
• Monthly closing activity related to monthly financials like OPM Module, Batch sheet, Utility report, and payables aging.
• Verify coding, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin or Finance and Accounting.

Experience:

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Oracle.

Language skills: Written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
