Job Description

Organization Unit Purpose

Provides credit administration and operations support to wholesale banking unit, commercial banking unit and wealth management unit (private and priority) by preparing facility and security documents, lodging and safe-keeping executed documents, creation and monitoring of collaterals, limit management, maintaining databases and furnishing of MIS to various stakeholders

Job Purpose
  1. Provide divisional / organizational / admin support on all credit administration and support related matters.
  2. Manage automation initiatives and other related projects in coordination with group risk.
  3. To increase efficiency of credit admin function with production of MIS and/or automated reports.
  4. To oversee the working and monitoring of credit operation activities provided to C&IB, WM and CMB units.
  5. Key review of replies to external audit reports (central bank / govt. / external auditor) and internal audit observations related to credit administration department
  6. Manage and monitor the safe custody of documentation & securities related to C&IB, WM and CMB units.
  7. Review and prepare department capacity plan (FTE requirements). Manage and monitor staff performance, development and training.
Main Tasks
  • To enable and ensure smooth functioning of the Credit Administration & Support.
  • Development and Improvement in related policies and processes.
  • Administration and Credit Operations activities.
  • Arrange workshops/meetings with business units C&IB, WM and CMB unit RMs to improve processes and bring efficiencies.
  • Coordinate initiatives related to automation Credits / Risk areas.
  • Participate in all required tasks for implementation of system projects relating to documentation, limits, collaterals and reporting including central bank reporting, and work closely with IT, project management teams, vendor and other concerned business units.
  • Successful implementation of nCino Management system for C&IB, WM and CMB.
  • Review / revisit credit operations processes to ensure all activities are covered with required controls and they are regularly updated with all changes in banks policies and systems, where required.
  • Improve TAT for completion of facility documentation and security documentation.
  • Provide support to business with improved TAT.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of all security documents.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of required MIS reports to various stakeholders including MCIC/EXCO.Interact with internal/ external auditors
  • Central Bank Examiners and Govt auditors.
  • Preparation and completion of all requirements of External / CB auditors.
  • Timely coordination / response and sharing the requested information to Group Risk / GCD.
  • Coordinating with respective credit and other units for providing management responses for
  • Central Bank and Govt auditors audit reports and submit to CEO Office.
Required Knowledge / Skill etc
  1. Bachelors or Master&aposs Degree
  2. Diploma/certification is banking/finance15 years+ in banking industry
  3. Minimum 10 years as head of credit administration
  4. Thorough knowledge of credit admin functions and Islamic banking
  5. Thorough knowledge credit banking systems
  6. Managerial skills with leadership qualities to handle 20 30 staff
  7. Worked in diverse, cross-cultural teams
  8. Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
  9. Strong communicator
  10. Strong governance experience
  11. Strong communication and public speaking skills
