As the Uniform Services Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness and day-to-day efficiency of our Uniform Services.You will be responsible for delivering high standards of service that reflect our brand, directly impacting the colleague experience and upholding our image.
This role demands a hands-on, process-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and embraces safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of Uniform Services operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
- Lead a team to execute uniform distribution, inventory control, and process adherence.
- Maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders to support operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, HACCP, and company policies and procedures.
- Drive improvements in uniform processes using ERP and facility systems (e.g., Maximo, Oracle Fusion).
- Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, checklists, and performance trackers.
- Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining service excellence and colleague satisfaction.
- High School Diploma and relevant professional certification.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role within a customer-service or operational environment.
- Strong technical and hands-on experience in uniform services or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of HSE and HACCP standards.
- Familiarity with BMS, PTW processes, and ERP systems for inventory and procurement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including documentation ability.
- Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, and objective decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
- 5+ years experience in a textile/laundry/uniform-related industry.
Will be a plus:
- Degree or certification in Apparel, Fashion Technology, or Clothing/Garment Technology.
- HACCP Level 3, Fire Life Safety, First Aid, or related HSE certifications.
- Experience using Maximo and Oracle Fusion.
- Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or higher) certification.
- Understanding of CSR and project management principles.
