Scope
We&aposre looking for a skilled and certified Welding Inspector to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary professional with a strong background in quality control and inspection across various engineering fields.
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections of welding, coating, and other related activities to ensure they meet project specifications and international standards.
- Review and verify all relevant documentation, including welding procedure specifications (WPS), welder qualifications (WQT), and material test certificates.
- Perform visual inspections of welds and coatings, and supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure quality and integrity.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs) and track their resolution.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
- Witness and verify all stages of welding and coating application, from surface preparation to final finish.
- 2-year technical diploma (minimum)
- 5+ years of experience in relevant disciplines (welding, NDT, coating, civil, mechanical, or E&I)
- Certification: CSWIP 3.1, BGAS I, NACE CIP I, or equivalent
- Certified multidiscipline (welding/coating) preferred
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
