Finance Manager - Ras al-Khaimah

We are currently supporting a leading international media and technology firm in their search for a Finance Manager to join their team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the full finance function, driving reporting accuracy, cross-border compliance, and strategic financial planning in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The finance team plays a key role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting global operations, and delivering insightful reporting to senior management.
Description- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and internal policies
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity and financial planning
- Perform cross-country consolidation of financial statements for accurate multi-jurisdictional reporting
- Monitor and manage intercompany transactions, ensuring proper reconciliations and balanced reporting
- Analyze financial performance and variances to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process and timely resolution of audit queries
- Oversee and ensure accurate VAT return filings in accordance with UAE regulations
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, managing facilities and ensuring documentation accuracy
- Supervise and mentor a junior finance team, driving development and accountability

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role
- Professional qualification CA is highly preferred
- Prior UAE experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial controls
- Proficiency in financial software such as ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Proven leadership experience and a track record of managing junior finance staff
