OpenShift Administrator

Job Description

• Manage and maintain the OpenShift cluster, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Perform cluster installations, upgrades, and configuration management.
• Monitor cluster health and address issues related to nodes, pods, and networking.
• Configure and manage OpenShift components like routes, services, persistent volumes, and operators.
• Implement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and authentication integration.
• Manage cluster networking, including ingress, egress, and service mesh configurations.
• Automate routine tasks using tools like Ansible or scripts.
• Integrate OpenShift with monitoring tools for application observability.
• Leverage OpenShift Operators to manage application lifecycle.
• Workload secret management using external secret provider.
• Deploy and manage applications to OpenShift platform.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift and container orchestration.
• Experience with Linux systems, networking, and storage.
• Familiar with Operator Hub, Helm chart and Kustomize based deployment.
• Familiar with Hashicorp vault for secret management.
• Experience with Ansible automation platform, Terraform, etc.
• Experience with following tools would be added advantage, managing redis enterprise database, red hat keycloak, EDB for postgres, etc.
• Experience with Multi cluster environment.
