Laith Al Obaidi Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Auditor to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating financial operations, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits to assess financial records, internal controls, and risk management systems.
• Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and potential fraud risks.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal processes and recommend improvements.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure best financial practices.
• Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor managements interventions
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sectors rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CIA certification is a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in internal auditing or a similar financial role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial regulations, and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills..
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in Arabic is essential; English is a plus.
