Warehouse Operative
Job Description
Job Purpose:
Works in warehousing, assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items onto racks, and shelves. Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.

Role and Responsibilities
Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
Processes orders as per cycle order fulfilment
Assist in shipping of products from one destination to another.
Receives products and coordinates delivery.
Prepares loads for shipment.
Goods-in of all received goods in the system.
Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on time delivery.
Check for damaged or missing items.
Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear
Keep records of stock.
Keep paperwork up to date.
Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory
Perform and report inventory counts.
Skills and Abilities
Understanding of Warehouse Operations: product knowledge, suppliers and customer management
Good excel and Microsoft Outlook skills.
Detail and accuracy oriented
Continuously identify measures & improve processes
Self-motivated. Data accuracy is important, thus will self-check work and ask questions if not sure.
Good mathematical and written English skills
Review Incoming mail and prioritize
Organize work-flows, regularly follow-up on day-to-day responsibilities / tasks
Other tasks as required to assist the business
Maintain a comprehensive filing system to ensure retention of reliable /current data and easy information retrieval.
Quality assurance checks are maintained and completed
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Strong PC/Data Entry skills, Knowledge of ERP
Team player
Able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and can work effectively in a high pressure environment.
Able to meet on-going deadlines/schedules
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Minimum 1-3years work experience in similar role
Degree Holder in relevant field (Logistics, Supply Chain or Business)
Flexible, hands-on approach with attention to detail and Can do attitude
UAE driving license preferably
Forklift License preferably but not mandatory
