Artistic & Creative Director – Contemporary Art Gallery
Location: Dubai, UAE – Full-time
Arturo Palomba Art Gallery LLC is looking for an experienced Artistic & Creative Director to lead the gallery's artistic vision, creative direction and cultural positioning in Dubai and international markets.
This is a full-time position. Compensation, bonus structure and benefits will be discussed based on the candidate's experience and profile.
The selected candidate will support exhibition concepts, artist relationships, creative programming and the development of the gallery's visual and cultural identity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading artistic and creative direction for gallery activities
- Developing exhibition concepts and cultural programming
- Supporting relationships with artists, collectors and creative partners
- Coordinating creative projects, events and international collaborations
- Supporting gallery positioning, storytelling and visual identity
- Working with internal teams on exhibitions, communication and client experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 8–10+ years of experience in contemporary art, creative direction, curatorial projects, gallery management or related cultural sectors
- Strong understanding of contemporary art, luxury and international cultural markets
- Proven experience with exhibitions, artists, collectors or cultural institutions
- Strong creative vision, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in an international and cross-cultural environment
- Fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of Arabic or Russian is a strong advantage
- Additional languages are a plus
