Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and supporting the overall sales strategy of our organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify new business opportunities and expand the existing client base
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Mentor and coach junior sales team members to enhance their performance
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's products or services
- Generate detailed sales reports and forecasts for upper management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of products or services to clients
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Opera PMS software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
