Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Operations to build and lead company&aposs Middle East and North Africa (MENA) operations from the ground up. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in corporate training and a proven ability to establish and scale operational frameworks.
You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of our corporate upskilling programs across the region, from hiring and managing our operational teams to establishing robust procedures that guarantee exceptional training experiences.

This role will be based out of Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Strategic Operations Leadership: Develop and implement the overarching operational strategy for company&aposs MENA enterprise business, ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional market needs.
  • Team Building and Management: Recruit, hire, and onboard a high-performing team of operational staff in the MENA region.
  • Freelance Trainer Management: Build and manage a robust network of freelance trainers, ensuring quality, availability, and alignment with company&aposs curriculum and delivery standards.
  • Operational Procedure Development: Design, implement, and continuously optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of corporate training delivery, including logistics, platform management, and issue resolution.
  • Program Execution Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end execution of all corporate upskilling training programs in the MENA region, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and program success, regularly analyze data, and implement improvements to optimize delivery.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in Corporate Training Operations: 15+ years of experience in operations management, with a significant portion focused on corporate training, EdTech, or a related field.
  • Leadership and Team Building: Proven track record of successfully building, leading, and mentoring operational teams, ideally in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Process Design and Implementation: Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize operational processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Regional Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) business landscape, including cultural nuances and market dynamics.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required and fluency in Arabic is preferred, given the regional focus of the role.
