Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description

Primary Skills]:

• 9+ years of experience in the field of automation testing web/mobile applications.
• At least 5+ years of experience in in Web Service/API Testing.
• In-depth knowledge and experiences of Javascript, Jest, TypeScript.
• Capable of Developing, testing, and debugging scripts in multiple protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST etc.)
• Experience working with client-server architectures and automation.
• Automating end-to-end test scenarios using Selenium/Webdriver.
• Experience with Agile software development processes and practices
• Quick learner and result oriented with strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about troubleshooting failures to determine root cause

[Good to have Skills]:

• Decent knowledge and experiences of Angular/React.
• Decent Knowledge of Golang, C/C++.
• Expertise in Project proposals and idea generation to expand business.
• Background or previous position in software engineering/development

[Responsibilities and Duties]:

• Designing and developing automation framework, tools, and test cases
• Lead test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
• Execute the automated tests, and record test results.
• Report issues and defects along with the appropriate background information for review.
• Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types.
