Key Account Manager - Government Accounts (Arabic Speaking)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly connected and commercially driven Key Account Manager – Government Accounts to manage and grow strategic relationships with government and semi-government entities across the UAE. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a strong network, proven account management expertise, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, strengthening long-term partnerships, and positioning the group as a preferred partner across key public sector accounts. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of government & semi-government clients across the UAE.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers within government entities.
  • Identify new business opportunities, tenders, and partnership avenues within the public sector.
  • Lead end-to-end account management activities, including client engagement, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closing.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams (commercial, operations, legal, finance) to ensure seamless execution of contracts and client requirements.
  • Develop strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, retention, and account expansion.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and government initiatives to inform business strategy.
  • Support preparation of proposals, presentations, and bids for government tenders and RFPs.
  • Track performance against targets, providing updates and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Sales, with a strong focus on government clients in the UAE.
  • Well-established network within UAE government & semi-government entities is essential.
  • Proven track record managing and growing high-value key accounts, closing strategic deals.
  • Strong understanding of UAE public sector procurement processes and tendering frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in large organizations or diversified groups is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
