About Oomi
Oomi is a homegrown specialty coffee and matcha brand created for students and young professionals. Weve launched our first caf at the American University in Dubai, and were expanding with new branches across the city. Our vision is simple: to be the daily coffee ritual that connects people, cultures, and ideas.
The Role
Were looking for an entrepreneurial Operations Manager to run our existing caf and lead the opening of 23 new branches this year. This role is for someone who can manage daily operations while also thinking creatively about growth, menu innovation, and customer experience.Youll be my right hand in scaling Oomi, with autonomy to run the show while I balance a full-time role.
What Youll Do- Manage daily operations across one (and soon multiple) Oomi branches
- Recruit, train, and lead baristas and caf staff
- Oversee inventory, suppliers, cost control, and financial reporting
- Drive customer experience through quality, engagement, and service
- Develop and launch new menu items and seasonal products
- Handle accounting tasks: cash reconciliation, monthly P&L, supplier payments
- Open new stores: site selection, fit-out supervision, staff hiring, launch execution
- Implement systems for waste control, KPI tracking, and operational consistency
- Support brand growth through activations, events, and creative partnerships
- 5-8 years experience in F&B / caf operations (specialty coffee and matcha background a plus)
- Proven track record in multi-unit management or store openings
- Strong financial acumen (P&L, reporting, supplier negotiations)
- Creative thinker with a passion for menu development and innovation
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset you thrive in a fast-moving, growing brand
- Excellent leadership, training, and people management skills
Compensation
