Business Development Executive- Freight Forwarding

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing freight forwarding team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and strengthening relationships within the logistics industry, driving business growth and contributing to our success in a competitive market.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector across the UAE and Middle East region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective strategies and proposals.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand presence.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to inform management decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development or sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding services, international shipping regulations, and logistics solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
